Only a possibility I know but I for one would love to see how they pull that off on the big screen!

I seen this news reported over at Seibertron as well. I won't like it if they get the same design treatment as the other losers (Ops, Megs, SS, et all.).

I hate to say it being a fan and all, but I hope the movie bombs so bad that they'll see the error they made letting Bay have his way with the Transformer designs. If this happens, they will either make a redux or write in into the next movie's storyline about the change in appearance.

This could work. For all I don't like about the designs, the gruesome and abstract nature of them would be a perfect fit for the dinos. The current roster just screams monsters, and that's what the dinos are. It could work sooooo much better than what we got.

The Constructicons not so keen on

it was the constructicons i was looking forward to seeing, to be honest i think it could be a bit far fetched for the dino's to be in a film. (as much as I'd love too see them!)

Agreed, totally. The Dinobots are huge and bulky in both modes, they won't benefit from the stripped skeleton look at all.

Ahh... the great Transfan dilemma...

If the movie bombs, it's going to hurt the Transformers brand -- I can guarantee it.

But if it does well, it'll mean more Bay-ish designs for sure.

So... pick your poison. Twisted Evil

Yes, there isn't a pseudo-reboot of The Hulk series 4 years after the original's flat boxoffice performance.

Actually there is a Hulk sequel in the works. They've already cast Ed Norton as Bruce Banner. I'm in the minority though and loved the Hulk movie.

I only said that there might be a chance for another one, redux style, because I had heard through the grape-vine that THE HULK is starting from scratch.

I choose death! I know it will hurt the franchise if the movie tanks. Better that it bombs then the Bayformers living on in more TF incarnations (cartoons, comics, etc.). STOP THE SLAUGHTER. Laughing

IDW comics is the only thing giving G1ers the taste of the now classic designs. I just finished reading the ESCALATION trade paperback, awesome stuff! Megs is a hand gun, Optimus is a flat nose red & blue transport truck, and the designs for the most part are intact with minor alterations. Screamer and other seekers are F-22 Raptors. I have no problem with that. At least they don't transform into giant chickens. Laughing

Laughing Laughing

That in a nutshell sums up how bad the designs are, when one of the coolest, sleekest TF designs ever is reduced to burly fowls. Laughing
