whatev.

personally i'm waiting for a line of scaled toys. 1:48 for example, thereby avoiding a space shuttle being the same size as a VW bug, or a handgun the size of an space ship.

If the film had been explicitly defined as a G1 film there would have been no issues surely? And how can someone tell Hasbro what they can and can't do with their own product anyway?

Not sure I believe this. The designs are so out there, they aren't just different, more of a gross mutation..

That's something I've been waiting for as well. If I were to design a line like that, I'd first decide on the smallest alt. mode (i.e. bicycle), then set a reasonable scale and keep everything to that specification.

That's one thing that really bugged me about the Minicons. It looks lame to have a tiny helicopter hooked up to a large car, and then have a motorcycle that's the same size as the helicopter. I'd rather have seen the Minicon's alt modes be either vehicles in scale with the larger TFs (as in Sideswipe/MotorcycleGuy) or be some accessory like a weapon.

Anyway, I guess we'll just have to keep dreaming, Bubba. I highly doubt that Hasbro would ever put out a complete line all in the same scale.

I just thought a relaunch of "old toys" sounded interesting. Hopefully relaunch won't mean repaint or rerelease. But maybe I'm reading too much into it.

And, being the mass-shifting lover I be, scaling's no issue for me. It would be cool, absotively, posilutely, but I just don't see Hasbro actually pulling off a cool & thought out move like that.

As with anything and everything transformersy these days, I shall wait and see something represented in some format before making my mind up. Thanks for the info cov.

Actually I love the minicons, due to the fact that they are small helicopters and such. Not all of us have big huge mansions to keep big toys like Unicrons and Primus and that big Starscream fig. Minicons make it so that one can carry it around in ones pockets and have a descent Transformer collection. I keep mines in my pocket when I did my service learning hours for my education major. Kids in the classroom thought it was hilarious to see a female teacher making transformer noises when she was really suppose to grade papers while the kids do their work of copying letters off the board. I was doing hours in a kindergarten class so you can imagine how mad my teacher supervisor was with me and told me I was suppose to set a good example with the kids. Little did she know I made a bargain with the kids, I told them that if they finish their work they could come to the large circle table (where I was placed at) and place with my minicons. I can't do that with the larger toys because they will take up too much space. So Razz to the minicon haters out there.
