Since the board has switched post are marked unread when they have been, no matter which page I click on I'm alsways taken to the first. Crazy I tell ya' this place has lost it's mind (again)

I have no idea why that is other than a bug within either forumup or phpbb itself, I havent touched anything on the database side.

If it's any consolation I know exactly what you mean, as it's been doing it to me ever since I first switched it from being the standard forump design to what we used to have.

I'll do some investigative journalism in the FAQ/Help section and see what can be done!

It's the numbered page links that are a bit more sensitive than normal - if you click to the side of any number it will take you to page 1, so you need to make sure you click dead-centre on the number to get to the last page. At least that solution works for me.

It's the "hot topic" coloring system that's getting on my mantits. Can it be turned off? And yeh I'm getting forums claiming to contain unread material when I know I've read everything in there too - could that me related to the "hot topic" color thing, Kandikaretaker?

And lastly, would it not surely have been better to test out the skin separately, stored under a different name, before unleashing yon beastie upon the board?

It would indeed have been better to test out the board separately before unleashing it, and that is exactly what I would have done if forumup supported such an option.

But it doesn't.

Literally, you have to do it all real-time and on the fly.

I think you should all bear in mind that this isnt a board we own and can configure to our hearts desire ourselves - its a freebie and has some very definite limitations.

Looking at other peoples forumup boards, most seem to just stick with the default basic one.
