Another thing is the stores local to me are horrible when it comes to TF stocking consistency. There's never any telling of what you will or won't find there.

Since I've not been buying much TF recently, my local import shop has far too many goodies for me to be able to probably ever catch up. Sad

I need to start spell checking, I can't slip up at all, and have way too often recently....maybe it's just "I'm new here" trying to gain dominance of my psyche.

I just realized something. Has that Cybertron repaint of Megs even come out yet? Because if not I'm trying to figure out how either (A) one got the Target by my house or (B) what possible BW Megatron funky repaint it could have been....

.... Confused Question Neutral

I dont think the Cybertron one has been released yet. I got the 10th anniversary one on Mon. I'm pretty sure the Prime and Megs are coming in the Smokescreen (drools) case.

Pretty crappy thinking on Hasbro's part (per usual) to release the same mold twice within such a short time frame.

And it turns out it was the 10th Ann Megs. Smile The kiddo wanted so bad to play with my displayed TFs I told him Saturday morning (after watching the cartoons he likes) that I'd take him to Target to get some. Boy was joyfully excited. And, of course, after driving to every Target, Walmart, Toys R Us, Kaybee Toys n'such in the suburbian Dallas area, the boy & I walking into Target just to pick up a couple of whatever he liked so he'd have something, first thing that catches my eye is one, single, solitary Megs.

Rolling Eyes

But he was over-the-top happy at that, squeeling happy. He also picked up a couple of those minicon things. One had a big ass saw blade, the other looked like a dune buggy with a gun mount.

Smile

Sooooooo happy I have a boy sooooooo much into TFs at the age of 2. Very Happy He always wants me to sit down with him and flip through any comics I have (loves the profile books), likes watching the movie, and digs the toys. Fuggin A.

He won't let me touch Megs though. Sad

That's fantastic Cov!

I was on a camping trip this last weekend with my cousin. His nephew brought a Cybertron Prime with him. Most of the weekend he was asking me all kinds of TF questions, he lit up when I told him about Devestator. Was alot of fun (in between the huge fires) must be quite a treat to have that everyday

I hope it will be! He's still just a two year old, and as such not quite up for daddy's long-winded and clusterfucked explanations of Transformers. Laughing Still, if now is any indication, I'm looking forward to the future with this son'o'mine.

The hand is strong in this one...

Well, there's a lot of stuff you can say, but generally don't since it could be misconstrued.

I'm far too tired, worn down, and overworked to care.

Thought I'd slip that nugget in.

You wrote this on purpose, didn't you?

And it's just me and my way of always twisting things people have said. Embarassed

It's not just you Bloke, you're just the artist of such behavior. We're all guilty of manhandling what comes out of another person.

Not yet received, but paid for and awaiting delivery, is Universe Ramjet. Been chasing this one for a while and always got outbid, but got a decent price this time, considering it's near mint, with near-mint box, and all bits and pieces, and all 4 minicons. Can't wait, it's goijus!

Holy Hell!!! I bought it at retail when it was first released and thought it was ghastly. I just bought it because I loved the Armada seekers mold. Didn't think it was worth that

I feel so fucking stupid. Sad

For the entire time it was sitting on Target shelves I marveled at Universe Nemesis Prime. I never picked him up, even when I honestly had the cash, as then (same to now) I feel guilty spending money on myself. My wife has to push me heavily to ever make a personal purchase, and since I never spoke to her of the Target exclusive toy she never gave me a swift kick in the rear to buy it.

So I didn't pick it up then.

Then early last year I decided I wanted it, but as I didn't have any credit cards at that time (by choice) and still don't (by choice) it made a purchase of the rare item online a chore. Ebay appeared out as no matter what someone told me the registration required me to enter a card number to be on file (seriously, if there's a different way to do it, no one was of help, especially ebay support). I found a place eventually online that appeared to accept money orders by mail, and had Nemesis at 35 bucks. So I sent an email to the owner to let him know I wanted to purchase. Never got back to me, and I wasn't about to send a money order in for an unsure transaction.

So I didn't end up picking it up then either.

Now here I am with a debit card, wanting the blasted toy for my home office decor, and the single place I can find it is on ebay for $74 dollars.

Fucking hell. Stupid me.

Sad
