Fucks sake, it's like bloody TFL here for me today! What's wrong with the place? Almost every page I open crashes (wait for the irony - this one will go through first time Rolling Eyes

).

I thought this new (horrible) look was supposed to help things?

It's been happening to me every so often as of late. I just refresh 2 or 3 times and it seems to go back to normal

Ok, I dont get that. Mine only happens when I go to the main page. Once I'm in a thread it's all dandy, it' definately running slower though

It's been appallingly slow this evening. Spent ages doing a PM to Blokie, clicked send, only for it to hang for a couple of centuries, and then come up with the infamous database error.

Taking up to 5 minutes to reload a page now too. Wonder if this post will make it through...

Nah in all honesty I've seen a lot of reports that various parts of t'internet were slow today, including and not limited to here and Yahoo's mail servers. General mass traffic on the t'internet backbones I guess.

The board has been EXTREMELY sucky for the last hour or so since I first tried to get on. Error, error, can't find page, can't find that either, or that, and something else won't load, more errors.

Yes I know it's not the fault of anyone here, but it's a fucking nuisance sometimes, and given that I had X-amount of posts marked unread, when it finally DID stabilise and stop chucking up errors everywhere, everything had been marked as fraggin' read (not by me!) so I've gotta go thru' all the top posts again in each forum! Ya, I've been experiencing the slowness and can't-load-page-nessness, too.

Its very annoying - but it does happen reasonably often - it seems we have good patches and then a bad one - I'd put money on it being forumup's servers.

They need something, yesterday's board failure was the worst I've experienced. Would be great if we could take the database and go elsewhere, but I don't think they allow that.
