In addition to the new lick o' paint, I've made some less noticeable changes:

I've enabled 'Gallery avatars', whatever that means.

Upped the max size for avatars to 100pixels rather than the previous size of 80.

Upped sig length to 250 characters.

Upped max poll options to 15.

Increased PM box capacity: max inbox posts is now 60, and maxed saved is now a huuuge 100.

Upped the max posts per page to 25 rather than 20.

That would have been cool. Still, would it hurt to leave it on?

you could keep a collection of general TF avatars, like faction symbols, for new users that aren't as internet literate?

Is it the coding for it you're having problems with Pitts? Gimme a holler if it is.

Dunno if this applies here, kitty, but I don't think the sig appears in any of your posts made before you activate it. You may have to make a post afterwards and check that to see. Also, it doesn't appear in your profile, just in case you're checking that to see if it worked. Of course, I could be remembering it all wrong.

Blokie's right, it doesn't appear in any posts prior to activating the signature pic, but any changes you later make to the pic (new pic, tweaked pic etc) show up on any post since you first clicked it on in the first place.

So.... is the "redesign" (de-design?) now finished? Or, as previously said, is there still stuff to be done on it?

There's still much to be done, but I'm running (typically) behind schedule!
