I was not drawn to a particular generation of TF's, I was drawn to the idea of a War between Good and Evil staring Sentient Transforming Alien Robots, with Heroes and Villians and all being larger then life charecters.
And as long as that remains, I shall be pleased to continue being a Raver. |
But many are drawn to particular continuities of TFs, perhaps you should bear that in mind the next time you go off shrieking about the horrors of G1.. |
I bear that in mind quite a bit.
And IMO, praising one for something while faulting something else for the same flaws ever present in the original is one of the things that causes that whole goat-getting thing I mentioned. (Did that make any sense at all? No? Thought not.)
Really, Cybertron and RID are at least on par with anything and everything G1 did. If you fault one of those for something while giving G1 a pass, I'll call you on it. Armada and The-Show-Which-Shall-Not-Be-Named-For-Being-A-Bastradization-Of-Super-Link have a different set of problems entirely, and hell, BW, BM, and of course the immortal G1 all have flaws out the wazoo. But there's a lot of good to be found in ALL TF's, and each has their own large and signifigant contributions to the overaching mythos, if you're just willing to look for it.
Ok, ok, I'll get off the soap box now. Sorry. ^^' |
