I wish they'd just let Prime die.

Though I doubt they ever would, wouldn't that be something if they did? They'd gain +10 Ballzy points in my book were that the case, I must say. Again, not that they would. Last issue of their second story run for their main TF series? I suspect more an absence of Prime for the next run ("Destruction" or whatever it's called) with him coming back to life in the end and saving the day or some such.

They should just have the nuts and kill Prime. Since the Autobots are getting their arses beat anyway, to then take Prime permanently out of the picture would be something completely new.

Well, not completely new, but certainly something we haven't seen in, oh, 'bout twenty years now, yeah? Would be great though. Not that I neccassarily want Optimus gone, but, well maybe yeah. They need a new Prime. Not Rodimus, a brand new Prime. Cybertron fooled me into thinking they had the right idea with Vector, but that didn't pan out.

I wouldn't even want a Prime as replacement. Besides, IDW aren't having the Matrix anyway. I'd liked to have seen a lowly grunt Autobot slowly go from being some background character at first to ending up with a bigger role, and then eventually having to assume command after Optimus is destroyed.

That no Matrix thing bugs me. I prefer "Prime" being more than just some title.

And while I certainly wouldn't want an immediate replacement, I suppose I just prefer a Prime somewhere in the equation......especially since I've been waiting since "Rodimus" for a brand new, new new Prime to show tha eff up!
